Grace like Grapes

Today I got promoted.
When i first heard the news, i didn't even register.
The Principal was talking about different things in her agenda and then she mentioned promotions.
I totally didn't expect anything.
Because last year i struggled mightily with skin and body problems, struggling if i'd ever make a difference in the world, wondering if it has any place for a handicap like me. No more thoughts of climbing a ladder, I can't be concerned with how others rank me... all i can do is look out for my kids.
I was overwhelmed. I couldn't even think. Most people are estatic - happy. I wanted to cry, but there were no more tears inside...?
Shocked.
Then i felt crushed.
Crushed?
Yes. That's the Grace of God.
It's unspeakable.
It crushes you like grapes... and while under it's influence, you see the wine within overflow in you to all around. Overflowing. God makes water into wine.
Grace makes living waters in you pour out like wine too.
Love
Ken

Hello Mr Koh. it's cerise here, dont know if u rmb me..S12 for first 3 mths. anyway, that's besides the point. :D Sorry if we weren't appreciative of your kind intentions during class or if we ever made u upset. Just want to let you know that I've really respected you a lot from term 1, even before i found out about your condition. Now, having seen the courage that you face life with each and every day, it just deepens the respect I have for you. You're just such a wonderful teacher and S12 was really hoping that you'd be teaching us after jae, but sadly it isnt the case. Nevertheless, we enjoyed your lectures on dynamics thoroughly. Which lecturer would put in so much effort to make a lecture interesting so students wont fall asleep? Now we'll always remember that US university lecturer in the video ;)
No matter what happens, stay strong like you are now and no matter what happens ,always know that your students will be behind you all the way. Take care :)
